Simon Hunt: Find out more about the host of our ‘Little Lockdowners 4-11 Years’ Q&As

Primary Teacher and Education Consultant, Simon Hunt, will be discussing the impact of the pandemic on children in primary years with experts, Rachel Clarke, Dr. Ems Lord and Hugo Shephard.

Mr Hunt is a teacher, author, vlogger and education consultant. He has taught Reception, Year 6 and now a mixed year 3/4 class at Tottington Primary School. Simon has presented at shows such as BETT (the leading event for education technology), SETT (Scandinavia’s largest trade fair and conference for modern and innovative learning), and various other educational conferences across the globe.  
 
In 2018, Simon was named ‘Inspirational Teacher of the Year’ and recent recipient of the Curriculum Improvement Award 2021. He has also appeared on the BBC, BBC iPlayer and on multiple educational podcasts. Mr Hunt vlogs about his own teaching experiences, bringing fun and creativity into the classroom, across his social media platforms. 
 
Simon is looking forward to speaking to our experts, soaking up their knowledge and seeing how he can use the insights to impact the teaching and learning of the children in his class and school.

Simon adds, “Teachers have lived, breathed and continued teaching through the pandemic and as much as there has been many negatives, there has been some positives and things we can learn from going forward.”
