Meet Podcast Guest: Andre Imich

Andre Imich joins our host Ruth Lue-Quee on Series 6 of the TTS Talking Podcast to chat all things to do with Understanding SEN in the Early Years. 

Between 2010 and 2024, André held the post of SEN and Disability Professional Adviser for DfE. He provided advice to ministers and DfE policy leads across the department on all matters relating to identification, support, and improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND. He worked closely with local authorities, parent carers, voluntary sector, health, and schools and colleges. In 2022, he received an OBE for services to children and young people. 

Previously, André held SEND leadership and professional posts in the National Strategies and local government and has been an Educational Psychologist and a primary and secondary school teacher.
