Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk: Early Years developmental insights

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk explores how environments can impact babies – even before birth – and what implications this could have for pandemic babies.

Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk is an infant development specialist speaker, trainer and researcher fascinated by the innate capacity of babies to connect. Dr. Zeedyk believes that everyone deserves to share in scientists’ discoveries about the importance of relationships.

Following 20 years as a developmental psychologist, research scientist and lecturer at the University of Dundee in Scotland, she set up an independent training enterprise to make the science of emotional connection accessible to the public through speaking events and masterclasses.

In addition to authoring over 50 research papers and chapters, including the widely published
What’s life like in a baby buggy?’, Dr. Zeedyk further broadened her public reach
by founding the organisation connected baby. She and her team aim to help parents and
professionals make practical use of the science of connection through resources, events and exhibitions.

As part of our latest TTS Talking webinar, Dr. Zeedyk explains how environments can impact babies – even before birth – and what implications this could have for babies born throughout the pandemic and beyond.
